  • The folks of Winmobile.se have reviewed Acer C1, a Windows Mobile 6.5 handset with quite low end specs, considering the fresh OS it runs. There’s a 528 Mhz CPU under the hood, but there’s also the setback of the WQVGA screen.

Among the features of Acer C1 there’s also 128 MB SDRAM, 256MB of flash ROM, a 3.2 inch WQVGA display with a 240 x 400 pixels resolution. As far as connectivity is concerned, you get HSDPA Category 8/ HSUPA Category 5 (2100/1900/850 MHz), GSM/EDGE (quad band, 850/900/1800/1900 MHz), GPRS/EGPRS (Class B).

Bluetooth 2.0+EDR is also supported, together with A-GPS and you have to know that a built-in GPS is also present, plus a 2 megapixel fixed focus camera. The main appeal of the device is its low price, but you can consider it closer to the midrange segment, thanks to the AGPS, as mentioned by the reviewers.
