  • Acer stunned everyone today, by introducing a new Android smartphone, called Liquid or Acer A1. What’s really neat about this device is that it’s the first smartphone packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and running Android 1.6.

    This wide-VGA device runs Donut/ Android 1.6, as mentioned above and brings support for tons of new apps to the scene, either games, professional software and web applets, for a better user experience. Acer Liquid is able to access web pages instantly, supports smooth streaming of music and videos and it also comes with maps, mail features and search applications.
