Acer stunned everyone today, by introducing a new Android smartphone, called Liquid or Acer A1. What’s really neat about this device is that it’s the first smartphone packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and running Android 1.6.
This wide-VGA device runs Donut/ Android 1.6, as mentioned above and brings support for tons of new apps to the scene, either games, professional software and web applets, for a better user experience. Acer Liquid is able to access web pages instantly, supports smooth streaming of music and videos and it also comes with maps, mail features and search applications.
HSPA connectivity is also supported, meaning you’ll get almost instant uploads of web pages and downloads of all the content you want. 3D graphics, a revolutionary UI, social networking features, geotagging, an optimized 5 megapixel camera with ISO, self time and accelerated autofocus complete the highly appealing package.
