Android 1.5 Gets Announced, Detailed Soon
April 14th, 2009 | by ThryStan |
Although Cupcake has been messed with a lot for the past months, it’s only now that its features got incorporated in a neat Android OS update, the 1.5 version. Android 1.5 incorporates Cupcake and also features a Home screen framework, that will be used for widget development and populating live folders with content.
No info when this update will hit Android devices, but it’ll happen soon enough, specially since HTC Magic is coming and it should take full advantage of the new software.
OHA also announced that it plans on releasing a couple of articles about the upgrade’s features in the following weeks, in order to give the developers a helping hand as they prep new apps for the innovative phones.
