Android Gets Multi-Touch Support… Unofficially (Video)

  • Believe it or not, the T-Mobile G1 supports multi-touch, but it seems that this feature is hidden somewhere deep inside and Google/T-Mobile aren’t very keen on revealing such goodies to the public. Thank God for hackers though, who have managed to get the multi-touch feature working, as you can see in the video below:

    Multi-touch seems to be working in Android’s browser and you can see the user getting around the menu with his two fingertips. Of course, getting this hack to work on your G1 is quite complicated, as you’ll have to gain root access and do tons of other stuff that might jeopardize the integrity of your data.
