Gigabyte’s First Android Phone Gets Pictured Live

Gigabyte’s got a new member of the GSmart series coming, this time with Android on board and we’ve recently seen the device pictured live, courtesy of the folks of Mobile Review. This is not an impressive smartphone, but it specs are pretty decent, as you can find out after the break.

The phone runs Android 1.6, just like SE XPERIA X10 and it comes with a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor, a 2.8 inch QVGA display, a trackball, GPS and a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus. WiFi is also supported and the device uses 192MB RAM and 512MB ROM, plus a microSD card slot.

Sadly, the GSmart Android handset lacks 3G connectivity, but at least it features a 3.5mm audio jack. Expect it to hit the market in February or March, with a $300 price tag.
