  • Android OS controlling an Android… sounds like something predictable. However, it’s not an android that Google’s OS will control, but rather a tiny surveillance robot patrolling around you house. Check out the video below to see the T-Mobile G1 turned into a remote control for robots:

    Open source robotics experts Surveyor provide the open source tech needed for this project, a control console for the SRV-1 robot controller. The code for this initiative can be downloaded from here and you have to know that SRV-1 is a modular robot platform that can be connected to many devices and accessories.

    You can make your own Android controlled bot or buy a pre-built machine.
