  • After finding out that the XPERIA X10 uber smartphone will be hitting the market in February 2010, we learn that a possible carrier adopting the phone could be AT&T. The US carrier might be the one to sell the device, or so claim the folks of Phandroid, who spotted the UMTS frequency support on the specs list.

The 800/850/1900/2100 bands fit AT&T’s 3G network and it would be pretty interesting to finally see an Android phone on the iPhone carrier’s network. Pre-order prices for the X10 revolved around $999 in some retailers, but the phone might just be worth the effort, considering that it’s the best specced Android handset out there.

Let’s hope that the smartphone doesn’t get delayed, just like its predecessors…

$1000??? Oh Dear, I'd better sell one of my kidneys… :(

That's too much, I think I'll buy one in March when, hopefully, its price lowers a little bit.
