Apple Tablet Ships in Q1 2010, Foxconn Makes It?
Yet another Apple Tablet rumour has surfaced online and this one claims that the device will be shipped in Q1 2010 and its manufacturer will be Foxconn. Also, we’ve learned that the tablet is a 10.6 inch display device, instead of the 10.7 inch one we’ve heard about.
DigiTimes has spread this info and they also mentioned shipments of 300,000 to 400,000 units, to start with. Foxconn is not a strange choice, since they also work with Apple on the iPhone, which they manufacture, but the rumours claimed that Quanta will be making the tablet.
Innolux Display will supply panels for the portable gadget, as DigiTimes mentions, specially because they’re one of Foxconn’s subsidiaries. What’s next? A leaked Apple Tablet prototype and another dead Foxconn employee?
