  • A few hours before Apple’s WWDC debut, the web is filled with rumours regarding the name of the new iPhone. Turns out that it’ll be iPhone 3GS and the new device will pack a double amount of CPU speed and RAM. Also, we learn that this iPhone version could retail for $199 (16GB) or $299 (32GB).

There’s also a leaked picture to go with the info (the one above) and in case you’re not familiar with today’s great event, know that at 10:00 AM (06:00 PM GMT) Apple will officially announce its new product(s) at WWDC.

Previous rumours claimed that the iPhone 3GS will feature an AMOLED display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, FM radio and the above-mentioned CPU and RAM. There are also sources talking about a cheaper 4GB iPhone (nano?), that will also see the light of day this month, retailing for $99. 5 hours left till it all gets confirmed/announced!
