  • Apple has just gone official with the fact that Steve Jobs won’t be the one introducing the new iPhone, via his usual WWDC keynote. The tech guru will be replaced by Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, a man who is up to the task and experienced enough  to MC the event.

June 8th will be an extremely interesting day, since Apple is getting ready to announce a new iPhone at WWDC, perhaps even its first netbook. Although Schiller is skilled enough, he’s not as cool as Steve Jobs, who might actually show up, as he usually does, surprising everyone. He’ll probably waltz on stage, new iPhone in hand and cool tune in the background.

Or he’ll just let the stocks go down a bit and not show up at the event, worrying the investors even more.
