Yes, it’s a world crisis situation and people are loosing their jobs all over the world. It’s just that AT&T’s employees might have wished for this not to happen.
12 000 people working at AT&T will loose their job soon, according to official announcements. It should be one heavy cloud over the holidays of many people working for the operator.
The company has cut jobs in April as well, about 4 600 of them, probably foreseeing the crisis situation. Shares went down 2.5 percent in pre-market trading, at USD 28.35.
