Gameloft is late to the Avatar party, launching a videogame created for the film bearing the same name, that debuted 10 months ago in cinemas. However, this Android title is pretty good, as shown by the video at the end of the article and its gameplay and graphics are stunning.

We’re talking 3D graphics here, putting the Samsung Galaxy S unit, for example to good use. Sophisticated controls were also included, as well as action-packed scenes, that stay true to the motion picture’s storyline. This game won’t be available in the Android Market, but instead you’ll have to download it from Gameloft’s servers.

Also, the title is not supported on some Android phones, like LG Ally and Motorola Charm, sadly. An important thing to mention is that the game is available as a free download at first, but you’ll have to pay $4.99 to play further than the demo. What’s strange about this fee is that it’s entirely optional…
