BlackBerry Bold 9700 Gets Handled on Camera
October 24th, 2009 | by Yorga |
BlackBerry Bold 2 aka BlackBerry 9700 got messed with by the folks of Stuff.tv, who “crashed” the launch party of the handset in Germany. They took it for a spin and compare it with the original Bold. What they came up with, you can find out after the break.
First of all, BlackBerry Bold 9700 gets a better CPU, which means faster web browsing and upgraded video playback. As far as styling is concerned, you get a Curve-like design, a slimmer waistline and a smaller screen, with a 2.4 inches diagonal. There’s a 3.2 megapixel camera on board, plus GPS and the new Bold supports 3G and WiFi connectivity.
Battery life has also been improved, in comparison with the first model and there’s also a 3.5mm audio jack on board for music fans. It’s very important to mention that the trackball has been replaced with a touch sensitive trackpad. BlackBerry Messenger is also upgraded, allowing the users to connect with their friends simply by scanning unique barcodes with their cameras.
More details about the hands on experience are available in the video below:
