BlackBerry Essex is a Tour With Trackpad and Wi-Fi

September 1st, 2009 | by Yorga |

Remember BlackBerry Tour on Sprint? Turns out that a Wi-Fi supporting version of the handset, complete with trackpad will be surfacing at some point and the source is quite reliable, the folks that revealed a couple of Storm 2 screenshots.

The next Tour’s optical trackpad is the one that you saw on all the new RIM devices. Also, we found out that internally this BlackBerry wears the codename Atlas, but the public will get to know it as BlackBerry Essex. Expect it to hit the stores in 2010 and as far as specs and price are concerned, we have no info, nor do we have documents to look at.
