BlackBerry Storm 2, Available on Verizon Wireless Starting October 28

Verizon Wireless and RIM have just announced that they’ll start selling BlackBerry Storm 2 on October 28. The handset comes with BlackBerry OS 5.0, uses the new SurePress clickable display technology, supports WiFi and provides a great multimedia experience.
Storm 2 packs a 3.25 inch capacitive touchscreen display, with a 480 x 360 pixels resolution, 256MB of Flash memory, 2GB of onboard media storage and a microSD card slot (16GB card included). The BlackBerry browser on this phone has been improved, thanks to faster JavaScript and CSS processing, plus support for Gears and BlackBerry Widgets.
A 3.2 megapixel camera is also on the specs list, complete with autofocus, image stabilization, flash and video recording support. BlackBerry Storm 2 incorporates a 3.5mm audio jack, supports Bluetooth 2.1, includes a GPS and comes with V Cast Music with Rhapsody.
