BlackBerry Tour Smartphone Gets Officially Introduced

RIM has just introduced the BlackBerry Tour smartphone officially and you have to know that this is a powerful 3G device, with support for CDMA connectivity. The handset comes with hot multimedia features, a neat design and it’ll allow its users to stay connected around the world, supporting high speed 3G EV-DO Rev. A networks and 3G UMTS/HSPA and quad band EDGE/GPRS/GSM.

BlackBerry Tour comes with a black finish, chrome highlights and it measures 112mm x 62mm x 14.2mm and weighs 130 grams. It packs a full QWERTY keyboard with chrome frets and a bright screen (2.44 inches) with a 480 x 360 pixels resolution. There’s also a 3.2 megapixel camera on board, with image stabilization, autofocus and video recording.

Tour features 256MB of Flash memory, a microSD/SDHC memory card slot, GPS, geotagging, a 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth Stereo support and loads of productivity software.
