BlackBerry’s First Android Device Might Be Called Priv; We’ll Get Some Serious Privacy Features
In the last few days we saw a lot of news about the BlackBerry Venice, a first Android phone form the Canadian manufacturer. This device looks amazing from two main points of view: security and Android operating system. Even if Venice seems to be a good name for this new device, it looks like BlackBerry has something else in mind.
The upcoming smartphone could be called BlackBerry Priv in fact, name that suggest the company’s main policy to offer a high level of security on its devices. If you remember, in June, BlackBerry’s CEO, John Chen, revealed the fact that an Android device will be launched just when the developers will manage to make the phone secure enough.
Thereby, Priv seems to be the right choice for this one. Another clue about this matter, is the partnership between Android and BlackBerry from July, accord that put the base of building a more secure business environment.
If this new device will be called Priv or not, it remains to see. According to the latest leaks, BlackBerry will bring a 5.4 inch Quad HD panel on this phone, 3 GB of RAM memory, a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and a 18-megapixel rear camera.
