Casio G’zOne Brigade is a Well Specced Rugged Phone

  • Casio has recently announced the availability of the G’zOne Brigade clamshell phone, the G’zOne Brigade, a Verizon product that’s also a rugged handset with very interesting specifications. This is a PTT-capable CDMA handset with support for EV-Do rev. A and complying to military standards.

    Casio G’zOne Brigade is able to withstand shock, dust, vibration, water, humidity, salt, fog and low pressure without problems. Its specs list includes a QWERTY keyboard, a 2.9 inch WQVGA display and an external monochrome screen with a 1.2 inch diagonal (PMOLED, 128 x 96 pixel resolution).

    The device packs a 1440 mAh battery, that should provide 6 hours of talk time and we found out that its feature list also includes a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, autofocus, face detection, multi shot and digital zoom. 123MB of built in memory, a microSDHC card slot, 192MB RAM, 256MB of ROM complete the picture of this rugged handset.
