Sany Ericssan A8000i Is The Cloned Phone You’ve Been Waiting For
November 15th, 2008 | by Yorga |
Cloned phones are nothing new, but Sony Ericsson XPERIA has never had an “evil twin” till now… The handset is known as Sany Ericsson A8000i, looks very much like the X1, although it doesn’t feature a touchscreen and sliding QWERTY keypad. You can get it now (or not) at Chinagrabber for $193, 4 times cheaper than the XPERIA.
A8000i features a 2.9 inch non-touch screen, a standard sliding numeric keypad and, surprisingly an 8 megapixel camera at the back. The camera is quite neat, as it’s capable of zooming pretty decently, but other than that you get regular non-smartphone features and a VAIO branding at the back.
