TianJi 608, a Chinese Phone With an Interesting Form Factor

June 12th, 2009 | by Yorga |

This uniquely-shaped handset is called TianJi 608 and it’s not even a great phone brand knockoff, but an entirely new device, made in China. It comes with a 2.6 inch touchscreen display, dual SIM slot, a 1.3 megapixel camera and FM radio.

There’s also an MP3/MP4 player on board, Bluetooth, a microSD slot and support for GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz connectivity. The handset measures 102 x 54 x 11mm, weighs 105 grams and looks very, very familiar to a Motorola concept phone we’ve seen a while back.

TianJi 608 will set you back $109, a decent price for these specs, unless you’re into the $99 iPhone 3G.
