We’ve just stumbled upon two new Coolpad phones from China, that have recently received the regulatory approval to work on TD-LTE networks and be sold without problems. The first one of them is Coolpad 8703, that runs KitKat and should have an affordable price tag.

It also has a 4.5 inch LCD display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution and a 5 megapixel rear camera, plus a 3 MP front shooter. On the connectivity side there’s GSM, TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE, while the RAM is 512 MB on this handset and storage is 4 GB.
It will come in black or white, with a thickness of 10.9 mm. The other model is the Coolpad 8021, with Android 4.3 on board and a 4 inch LCD display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution. It has the same camera combo (5 MP back, 3 MP front camera), 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage. It measures 11.25 mm in thickness and it’s meant for China Mobile with a very low price.
