Dell Preparing a Smartphone; Working With Carriers
July 16th, 2009 | by Yorga |
Dell’s silence regarding its long awaited mobile phone does not mean that the company’s not working on getting the smartphone launched right now. Word’s out that they’re collaborating with the top 3 to 4 carriers, in order to meet their demands.
Last we heard, Dell was prepping an Android-based handset and they’re also set to launch a slew of other new devices with all types of screen diagonal sizes. The Wall Street Journal claims that we’ll see more than one 2G and 3G phone bearing the company’s logo and hitting the market before year end.
We’ve still to see a leaked photo of this mystery Dell Android phone, but we bet it’s something special, since it’s been in the making for so long.
