It just so happens that the Gionee F103 Pro handset that finally reached the stores today in India was tested by us recently, in the guise of the Allview X3 Soul Lite, the Romanian version of the device. Well, the F103 Pro is now up for sale in India, priced at $178 and it stands out through the inclusion of VoLTE.

Available in gold, white and gray, the smartphone is up for sale on retailer stores and the official Gionee online store. It has a metal frame and a 5 inch 2.5D HD display, covered with Dragontrail glass. This is a dual SIM phone, that runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, with the Amigo UI on top. Inside we find a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, as well as 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, expandable via microSD card.

Its 13 megapixel camera was found to be “good enough for Facebook pictures” in our review, while the battery was a bit of letdown. Selfies taken with the 5 MP camera were just OK, nothing fancy, but pretty well lit. The core point of the phone is its nice look and the performance offered by the CPU and 3 GB of RAM.
