AT&T has a new HP iPAQ smartphone included in its 2009 portofolio, the K3 handset that seems to use a Windows Mobile 7-style UI. Codenamed Obsidian, this device comes with Windows Mobile 6.5 and should hit the market in November 2009.

Among its features there’s WiFi, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 2.8 inch landscape screen with a pretty poor QVGA resolution. This is a 13.5mm thick phone, packing a 1400 mAh battery, a pretty decent keyboard and you should know that the above-mentioned display is a touch one.

Also on the specs list there’s a Qualcomm MSM7200A CPU (528 MHz), UMTS/Tri band HSDPA/GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0, 256 MB RAM and 512MB ROM. HP iPAQ K3 also comes with a microSD slot, a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash and a proximity sensor.
