After reviewing the policy on bootloaders, HTC Finally decided to give those up, as confirmed by HTC CEO Peter Chou. The official used Facebook to express his support for the people who offered feedback when the HTC EVO 3D turned out to be locked. This means that HTC actually listened to its fans and unlocked all bootloaders on all its devices. This makes the Taiwanese company’s products even more appealing. Considering that not so long ago Sony Ericssson created a special site for unlocking Xperia Android models, it’s now time for Motorola, Samsung and LG to also consider similar measures, in order not to fall behind.
