HTC One M9 Plus Leaks in Series of Hands on Pictures; Taiwanese Phablet Lives Again!
HTC One M9 Plus has disappeared from the rumors a day or two before MWC 2015 and no trace of it was found in Barcelona. HTC only unveiled the M9, the Grip bracelet and a VR headset. However, just as MWC ended, new rumors about the phablet popped up and today even hands on pictures leaked on the web.
We’ve heard a variety of speculations regarding this phablet, including at least 3 different diagonals. We seem to be dealing with a very rounded HTC One M9 Plus, at least at the back and this model seems to be quite narrow. It sports a huge camera lens, a dual LED flash and the typical HTC One construction. The Weibo account “Ubuntu team” is responsible with the leak, in case you’re wondering.
The second picture shows all 3 physical buttons on the smartphone placed on the right side, where there’s also the nano SIM and microSD card slot. Last we heard, this phablet was coming with a MediaTek MT6795 octa core processor, clocked at 2 GHz, a 5.2 inch 2560 x 1440 pixel display and 3 GB of RAM. A fingerprint scanner, 32 GB of storage and HiFi BoomSound features were also mentioned and apparently there will also be a Snapdragon 810 version of the unit.
