HTC Touch Pro2 must have reached just about any carrier in the world by now, but Verizon is surely taking its time and announcing that it’ll release the handset on September 11. Right now, the phone is available on Sprint and T-Mobile, but it’s the Big Red’s turn to get some QWERTY action.

This business phone comes with EDGE support (among other types of connectivity), a 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi, a WVGA screen and the brand new (for HTC) 3.5mm headphone jack.

This is a global device we’re talking about, ready to help you chat your way around the world, but it doesn’t come cheap, so you’ll have to pay $299.99 for it, with a 2 year contract, before a $100 mail in rebate.
