HTC Diamond Gets Windows Mobile 6.5… in Asia for Now

HTC Diamond aka Topaz has just received its Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade, in the Asian version. We’re hoping for an US release right now, but all we can do is wait and hope. You can get the new ROM in 6 languages from here and know that the software has reached version 2.17.707.1.

The fresh ROM allows you to customize HTC Diamond with programs, ringtones, TouchFLO 3D options and more, plus connect with people via Windows Live, Facebook and other clients.

Backup via Microsoft My Phone is also supported and the process is automatic and user-friendly. Windows Marketplace apps are also available and you should remember to check if the ROM version on your phone is newer than the one provided by the updates.

    How do I know which version to use. I try to get it from HTC site but they say not support after I input serial number.
