HTC Droid Eris Unboxing Experience Revealed

A Boy Genius Report tipster has just sent in a couple of shots portraying HTC Droid Eris, unboxed for everyone to see. The handset is basically a relative of HTC Hero, but thinner and with better feeling in hand.

This Verizon phone runs Android and uses the HTC Sense UI, which means that you won’t be seeing Android 2.0 on it just yet. Droid Eris features a 528 MHz processor, a 3.2 inch touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera, WiFi and a 3.5mm headset jack.
