HTC Gets Hype, Tour de France Winner and Hero to Thank for It
HTC got great press coverage thanks to Mark Cavendish, the first British cyclist to win the final stage of Tour de France. You can see why HTC got the hype in the picture below and, coincidence or not, there’s also a HTC Hero ad in the same paper. Go figure!
Meanwhile the web is abuzz with the huge numbers of handsets leaked by the company, from Leo, to Click, Rome, Imagio, Dawn, Tattoo and God knows what other codenames. Imagine the web and papers one year from now, with 20 more HTC devices on the market… Should the top 5 handset manufacturers start trembling?
