  • Virgin Mobile is not the first place you go to, when you want a high end handset, but now they’ve proved everyone wrong, by selling the HTC HD2 smartphone. The device is available for free, with a decent plan and we notice that Virgin Mobile is the only network still offering 12 month contracts.

Also, we must mention that the 18 month contracts are cheaper than those offered by O2, even though they include the same amounts of minutes. The Windows Mobile 6.5 handset packs an extra large 4.3 inch touchscreen, WiFi and GPS, plus all the processing power you need, via a 1 GHz CPU.

With this handset, you also get 3 months of free phone insurance, unlimited web access for 30p a day, up to £100 free airtime and 600 minutes of talk time, all through Virgin Mobile.
