  • Remember when Microsoft promised more info about Windows Phone 7 and HTC HD2? Well, they delivered, but it’s bad news that we’ve come across: the device doesn’t qualify to run the new OS developed by the folks in Redmond.

Confirmed by Microsoft in an interview with APC Magazine, the information will probably disappoint HTC HD2 users. Natasha Kwan, General Manager for Microsoft’s Mobile Communications Business talked about this issue, saying that MS has specific requirements for Windows Phone 7 Series.

It seems that the main problem with HTC HD2 is that it doesn’t have 3 buttons and a couple of hardware components needed by the new mobile platform. I guess we’ll have to settle with WM 6.5 and its latest versions for now…

BULLSHIT….. lol The HTC HD2 has 4 buttons at the bottom which are customizeable the hardware is all there …. so Microsoft beware dont do silly things or you will VISTA yourselves in the phone market and Android will win market share ….
