HTC Hero, Available via Sprint Now
Sprint has finally made the hot HTC Hero smartphone available for $179.99, after a $100 mail in rebate. An upgrade offer is also available, while the contract relies on the Business Advantage message and data plan or Everything plan with data and two year agreement.
As you can see, this version of Hero features no “chin”, the handset’s trademark design attribute, at least in its European version. HTC Hero’s main appeal is the HTC Sense UI, but it also comes with a cool virtual QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel camera with video recording, a customizable homescreen and Android Market.
