  • HTC Imagio has just reached the welcoming hands of the WMExperts folks, who published a review of the handset. This is a TV-focused phone, available on Verizon and the review seems to be pretty positive, with the main flaw being the lack of a dedicated power button.

Also known as Whitestone, HTC Imagio is a “black slab” phone with a design similar to the one of Touch HD. The device bundles a spare stylus, an USB cable, wall charger, manuals/software and a couple of international outlet adapters. Imagio uses a minimalistic design, with volume keys on the right, a bunch of buttons beneath the screen and the extUSB charging port and 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom.

Underneath the case of the promising smartphone there’s a 528 MHz CPU, 288MB of RAM, 512MB ROM and a 1500 mAh battery. A slight flaw can be the fact that the microSD card slot is placed underneath the battery cover and the reset button can be found in the same place. There’s also a kick stand incorporated, for great video viewing and this component can be used as an antenna for the MediaFLO TV service.

HTC Imagio also comes with a 3.6 inch 480 x 800 WVGA screen, that’s pretty impressive, but more on that in the full review.
