  • HTC M7 was leaked just hours ago in an interesting render that seemed almost real and now we have yet another leak, this time one that involves a hands on picture of the M7. As you can see, these pictures look pretty similar to the renders from hours ago, so we tend to believe they’re real. The strange thing is that the multitasking and Home button have switched places apparently.

This time, the back of the phone doesn’t remind me of the HTC 8X, but rather of the HTC Droid DNA. The flash of the camera has also switched sides and the HTC logo is now a glossy black, not a shiny chromed emblem, like in the previous leak. There’s also the Beats logo here, so the presence of this audio technology is guaranteed. Together with these hands on pics we also spotted some HTC Sense 5.0 screenshots, with an interesting new hour/weather widget.

The new clock widget adopts a vector-based look and overall the UI seems more elegant and serious, not as playful as the previous Sense iterations. Widgets have also changed shape and format, from what I can see. As far as the M7 goes, we’re expecting a MWC 2013 unveiling, but at this rate, we may see a separate launch event first, maybe in a week or so. The phone is expected to pack a 4.7 inch full HD screen, 2 GB of RAM and a quad core Qualcomm 1.7 GHz CPU.
