HTC S522/Snap Gets the FCC’s Blessing, T-Mobile 3G Support

  • Although HTC announced that Snap/S522/Maple will hit the US unlocked, it turns out that the device will also be available via T-Mobile, supporting its 3G network.

    This Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone sporting a QWERTY keypad should work in the AWS 1700 MHz bands (T-Mobile’s 3G frequency) and rumours claim that it’ll be released on July 1.

    We remind you that Snap/522 incorporates a Qualcomm MSM 7225 CPU (528 MHz), 256 MB ROM, 192 MB RAM, a 2.4 inch TFT-LCD display, with LED back light and QVGA resolution, plus a GPS and a 2 megapixel camera with fixed focus.
