  • Just like we expected, HTC went out and officially announced the HD Mini smartphone, pictured below. Confirmed at Barcelona, the device is supposed to reach the market in April and we know that this is a Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional phone.

The new model relies on the HTC Sense interface, complete with a very cool upgrade. Specs-wise, you get 512MB ROM, 384MB RAM, a microSD card slot (32GB max), HSPA/WCDMA (900/2100 MHz), GSM, 7.2 Mbps 3G, GPRS, EDGE, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and FM radio support. HTC HD Mini is very compact and light and we learn that it packs a 3.2 inch touch display, a 5 megapixel camera and a luminosity sensor.

Windows Marketplace will also be supported, as well as Twitter (thanks to the HTC Peep application) and Facebook, Microsoft Office files and PDF documents. We also have to mention that we think the back side of the of the device, in yellow garment and hidden under the hood is incredibly sexy.
