Nexus One Now Does 720p HD Video Courtesy of Hack (Video)

  • XDA-developers has done it again, pushing a download, that implements 720p HD video capture on the Nexus One. You’ll need to have the CyanogenMOd version 5.0.8test3 on the handset, in order to get this to work. Audio and fps rate will improve with future updates, as we’ve learned from Engadget.

    XDA wants to make the code compatible with Android 2.2 Froyo, but this will require a little bit of extra work. Considering that Nexus One and HTC Desire are very much the same device, should we expect a hack for that smartphone, as well.
