Sony Ericsson XPERIA Versus Asus P565 (Video)

  • PDA.Pl has an interesting comparison for us all to check out, between XPERIA X1 and Asus P565, two of the hottest existing smartphones. Here’s the comparison video, showing a Core Player benchmark running the Matrix trailer:

    The Qualcomm CPU is no match for the Marvel one, although HTC announced that the comparison is not quite fair, since their incorporated video player, HTC Album uses hardware acceleration. Meanwhile, Core Player doesn’t, but it allows a lot of playback freedom thanks to codec variety, that allows the device to play full resolution unoptimized videos.

    Too bad that Asus P565 will have a short life, because its maker partnered with Garmin and intends to only launch handsets under the new Garmin-Asus branding.
