WiMAX Communicator Speaks Russian

One talented WiMAX communicator has been created with Russia in mind, especially. HTC is the developer of the technology and Skartel is the first Russian operator who will receive rights of the devices.

HTC T8290 runs in GSM networks and is Wi-Fi and WiMAX capable. It uses a Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system and also comes equipped with a 5 megapixel camera, GPS navigator and sensor gravity.

The device also has a touchscreen with a diagonal of 9,5 cm, a processor of 528 MHz, 512 MB Flash memory and 256 MB of RAM. All these will first reach Russian territory.

Skartel owns the right to distribute the new Communicator. Still, they are little optimistic about its success in the WiMAX range, as laptops are more likely to be used in this field.
