iPad 2 Supposedly Reaches Amazon Germany, Hours Ahead of Its Debut

It’s not unusual for leaks of a product to happen hours before its announcement and Apple’s devices are the best for such happenings. The iPad 2 will become official in a matter of hours and before we get to see the real thing, we’ve found out that the device was spotted on Amazon Germany, with a price tag and specs.

Of course, this could be a fake and there’s really no way to tell right now, but here’s what we know about the product posted on Amazon. It comes with 9.7 inch display, 16GB of internal memory and a 1.2GHz processor. A Thunderbolt connection is supported, as well as WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G. Just as we expected a camera was included on the iPad 2, provided that this is the real thing.

The price is 499 euros for the slate and its availability is mentioned for March 17, but all of that is smoke and dust is the device announced by Apple in a few hours is not the same with the one on Amazon…
