I’m pretty sure there will be at least two or three dozen leaked pictures of the iPhone 7 over the next 6 months and 90% of them will be fake. This year starts with the pictures below, that came up on Gizchina, after being leaked on a supplier website.

As usual, we take them with a big old grain of salt, especially since Apple seems to return to the design traits of the iPhone 4 and 5. That highlighted metal frame hasn’t been available for a while now and the source details a 2.5D glass panel here, plus flat metal sides. The design seems slimmer than previous generations, in spite of the rumors of a bigger battery and more storage, particularly on the iPhone 7 Plus model.

Interestingly, these shots don’t show the back of the phone, but they do show it on a wireless charging dock, meaning we’re about to get the same feature that’s been popular on Android flagships last year. Finally, we get a look at the inside of the phone, supposed to hold the powerful Apple A10 processor. In the meantime Apple is said to be working on the iPhone 7c, that is due to leak in even more details any day now.

What do you make of this leak?
