iDongle Jailbreaks/Hacks Your iPhone, the Hardware Way (Video)

  • If you’re not satisfied with software jailbreaks anymore, we’ve got a cool gizmo for you, the iDongle. This little accessory can jailbreak and activate an iPhone 3GS or iPod touch with OS 3.1.2 on board, simply by plugging it into the dock connector.

    If there’s a jailbroken iPhone around, you can use the gadget to reboot the phone from a computer, which will become a problem in the future, specially with those nasty hackers lurking around. A dozen prototypes of the iDongle are available now, with pre-order options, but more will come, as the guys making these raise funds.
