iPhone 3GS to Reach Romania and Other East European Countries Soon
July 10th, 2009 | by ThryStan |
The iPhone freaks on iPhoneforum.ro have discovered that Orange Romania had just published the launch date for the iPhone 3GS in Romania. We learn that the phone will hit the market on July 31st and also it’ll reach tons of other countries this month, like Bulgaria, Columbia, Hungary, Slovakia, Norway, or Singapore.
We’ll see if the new iPhone catches on quickly in Eastern Europe, like the 3G model did. Recession should have its say and we don’t expect too many Apple fans to turn up at the launch event in Romania, on July 31st.
Also, many think that this new handset is a failure, specially because it keeps the design of the 3G model and it only adds a couple of hardware improvements, iPhone OS 3.0 and video features.
