Today, the Indian producer Lava announced the launch of a new mid-range device called Iris Fuel 50. Among other specs brought by this phone we can also notice the presence of a 3.000 mAh battery that promises up to 1 day and a half on a single charge. In terms of prices, the Iris Fuel 50 can be bought for just $127.

Lava Iris Fuel 50 brings a 5-inch display with a 854 x 480 pixel resolution protected by an Asahi Dragontrail glass, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB space of internal storage, a microSD card slot up to 32 GB, a 8-megapixel BSI-II rear-camera sensor and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

On the connectivity side we get 3G, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, a microUSB v2.0 port and a 3.5-mm audio jack. Lava also let us know that the new Iris Fuel 50 comes with various gesture-enabled features like double tap to wake up or to oppen an app just by drawing the its first letter.
