Let It Goat Review (iPhone 5): Flappy Bird Alternative, Not Clone, With More Varied Gameplay (Video)
We played Let It Goat a while ago on the iPhone 5 and this title is a Flappy Bird alternative, not clone. The game is a bit more complex and it comes from Sky Vu, but the real creators of the game are YouTube personalities Jack and Jack, two teenagers.
The main character here is a goat named Mounty, who jumps over obstacles and has to avoid zombies in his path. There are spikes to stay away from, jewels to connect and a funky music in the background. The game was released on July 2nd and it comes with 8 bit graphics and a variety of tweaks to the gameplay. You can ride a bear at some point and each obstacle you pass, gives you one point. You use the points to get boosters, character customizations and more goodies. The control is very simple, since all you have to do is tap the screen at the right time, to jump.
You can also share your score on social networks and even watch the replay of you run. Gamers can buy powerups, skins and suits for their characters and even turn the goat into Elsa, from Frozen. You can also unlock new backgrounds and the Frozen references continue even here, with an ice kingdom. The game is fun to play, better than Flappy Bird and we give it an 8.3 out of 10. You can get it here.
