You may or may not be familiar with the LG Optimus Black, but one thing’s for sure: this very thin NOVA display handset reached our hands for a full review long before other famous sites, Engadget included. Now, since I’m done with the self praise, let’s see the news: the Optimus Black is now… white!

This offer applies in the UK and it’s very funny to see a handset with the name Black available with a white case. British phone retailer Phones4U allows customers to pre-order the white version of the handset, promising to ship it on July 15th. Users can pick between plans starting at 20 GBP a month, on carriers such as Vodafone, Orange and O2.

We remind you that the sexy smartphone features a 5 megapixel back camera, 2 megapixel front camera (first phone in the world with one) and a 4 inch WVGA Nova Display. HSPA and WiFi are also on board, as well as GPS and a memory card slot. More info can be found in our full review here.
