  • AT&T has announced that it’ll release a new handset, LG Neon, the US version of LG KS360, that will be available in a fresh color.

The handset features a full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.4 inch touchscreen, the latter being only used to dial numbers on the onscreen numeric keypad.

LG Neon is a handset for youngsters who are keen on texting and addicted to it, but we’re used to AT&T releasing such devices. The phone comes with a 2.4 inches TFT 240 x 320 pixels display, support for GSM connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and a Li-ion battery.

Neon comes with a 2 megapixel camera with support for video capture, GPRS/EDGE support, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB. The handset also packs a microSD/microSDHC slot, a music player, FM radio and support for email clients (IMAP/POP3/SMTP). No info on its price or launch date, for now.
