  • Verizon Wireless has just announced a trio of LG handsets today: enV 3, enV Touch and Glance, phones we’ve seen leaked before. LG enV 3 is available starting today in blue and red, for $129.99 with a contract and a after a $50 mail in rebate.

enV 3 is the logical successor to the enV 2 and it keeps the horizontal clamshell form factor, two displays and full QWERTY keypad. LG enV 3 comes with VZ Navigator, a 3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth support and a microSD card (16GB max). Moving on, LG enV Touch is quite similar to enV 3, but it comes with more advanced specs and 2 WVGA screens.

enV Touch incorporates a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, a 3.5mm headset jack, VZ Navigator and a document reader. You’ll be able to buy it starting June 5 for $149.99 with a 2 year contract, after a $70 rebate. Last comes LG Glance, a candybar phone with basic features and a very slim design.

The handset packs a 1.3 megapixel camera, a QVGA screen, VZ Navigator and it’ll also be available on June 5 for a mere $49.99.

Well I was up for my new every 2 and was looking at phones. I really wanted the Samsung Omnia for its quite impressive features but needed a data plan.

So I waited a few weeks and saw the enV Touch. Always liked the first enV and was curious.

So I looked at the features and was impressed. Decided to order it since I could get it for $100 bucks. Got it and I don't think I can ever regret my choice. it is an amazing phone.

It feels to me like LG finally got the perfect blend of phone/media player/camers. Not too much camera but not too much anything else. And I came from a Samsung SCH-A990 (before it was renamed the Flipshot) so it was quite a change.

But I love the phone. Can't wait to get a SD card to load it with music, videos and the such. Already have about 20 songs on it to just listen to and I can't put the damn thing down even at work where phones are a no-no. I even like it better than the Storm and iPhone (not a fan of Apple as it is).

love to see what you think, share your view at http://www.Env-Touch.com a place just for the Env-Touch owners.
