LG Introduces the First Transparent Keypad Handset: GD900

LG was part of the great MWC 2009 show today, announcing three new products: the first wireless modem that supports LTE technoloy, the first transparent keypad handset, GD900 and a touchscreen 3G watch phone, GD910. The beautiful device below is the transparent LG GD900, a handset that will surely appeal to ladies.

LG GD900 glitters like crystal and it’s a sliding handset that reveals a splendid transparent keypad that glows when open. The phone will reach global markets in the second half of the year, packing the most advanced technologies and the S-Class 3D interface.
Back to LG’s launches, the first LTE wireless modem shown today is a step towards a 4G chip that will be embedded in future LG smartphones. With the aid of two antennas, LTE-based devices can reach download speeds of up to 100 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps.
